John - Naturalist Guide at Denali Backcountry Lodge

"I have spent three summers at Denali Backcountry Lodge in the heart of Denali National Park.  I have seen wolf, bear, moose, and lynx all from the lodge.  The people I live and work with all come here to experience and be a part of a special place.  Taking a short walk up one of the small moutains surrounding the lodge, will reveal one of the grandest vistas in the world.  I love being able to take a hike at midnight with it feeling like 7 pm.  In the fall, blueberries abound along with several other edible berries.  It is the most concentration of berries that I have seen anywhere.  So come join us at Denali Backcountry lodge and let all your senses feast on this wild beautiful place we call Denali."
