Assistant General Site Manager (ASM)

Description of job duties:
A position where background in administration is required. The employee must be conscientious and think on their feet. The primary responsibilities are assisting the General Site Manager (GSM) in assuring the highest quality of service to guests, which include answering questions and being knowledgeable about the Denali Backcountry Lodge. Is responsible for working with the GSM in overseeing daily operations of the Site, including employee training and supervision, delegation of tasks, evaluation, dissemination of policies and procedures. The ASM will exercise consistent discretion and judgment in the performance of the work.
Required:
The candidate must possess one years prior hospitality management experience (some of which is preferred to be at a remote lodge), a valid drivers license and clean driving record, current ServSafe certification, current Alaska Techniques of Alcohol Management (AK TAM), enthusiasm and a strong customer oriented attitude. Current 1st Aid/CPR certification is desirable. Proficient with computers, microsoft office, searchs on web, some graphics and powerpoint work. Some accounting background is preferred.
