VENDOR RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE
Alaska Denali Tours & Denali Lodges is looking for a Wholesaler & Vendor Relations Representative (WVRR). This is a full time year around position. The WVRR will be responsible for: Overseeing all aspects of block management, reservations, billing, collection and process wholesaler’s payments. Group bookings. Maintain wholesaler’s contracts and files. Maintain vendor’s files, including contracts, certificate of insurance, rates and correspondence. Prepare operational and other reports.
The WVRR will also educate travelers and close sales. Educate and inform potential guests about the features, prices and services offered by Denali Lodges and Alaska Denali Tours through the phone, fax, email and personal contact. Maximize revenues and close the sale with well-informed guests.
Requirements:
- Some college in business administration or tourism is preferred.
- Two years of work experience in sales in the travel industry.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft computer programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must have great writing and communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate and enforce company policies.
- Excellent organization and follow up skills.
- SALES ATTITUDE IS A MUST
