TOUR CONSULTANT
We are looking for an individual goal oriented that enjoy sales to fill one opening as Tour Consultant.
The Tour Consultant provides useful travel information about vacation options in Alaska, and helps people plan trips and make reservations. Duties include: Working in reservation call center, answering telephone or e-mail inquiries and offering travel arrangement suggestions and information such as schedules, fares, types of accommodations, activities and other products; confirming transportation, activities and lodging reservations with vendors; using company’s reservation system to obtain information needed to make, change, or cancel traveler reservations; resolving problems with bookings; processing payments, working with travel agents and other duties as necessary.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required, although some
college is preferred. At least one year of experience related with
customer service as Front Desk or Reservationist.
Applicant must have good knowledge of the tourist attractions of Alaska
and proficiency of windows based computer programs, email (outlook),
excel spreadsheets, word documents and multi-line phone systems. Agent
must be a self-motivated individual able to organize and prioritize his
or her own work. Agent must be able to follow direction and adapt to
change quickly. Good memory and typing skills are a definite plus.
